01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

A short walk from the north exit of Otsuka Station on the 2F of its building, Ethnic Dining Japan brings together culinary traditions from India, Nepal, Thailand, and beyond. The dining room offers ample table seating in a relaxed setting, well suited to an everyday lunch or evening drinks with friends.

Fresh Naan and Authentic Spice Curries

Lunch centers on fragrant curries paired with freshly baked flatbreads. Choices range from butter chicken to richly seasoned mutton curry and smooth sag chicken, available in satisfying sets with salad and drinks. The oversized naan is baked to order with a balance of crisp edges and fluffy chew, complementing the deep spice notes of each sauce. Guests can also opt for cheese naan, Thai green curry, or pad Thai.

Momo and Sizzling Grills for Dinner

Come evening, the mood shifts toward sharing small plates and tandoor grills over drinks. Asian tapas pair naturally with alcohol, including spiced Nepalese momo dumplings, charred mutton sekuwa skewers, and succulent tandoori chicken. The drinks list extends from draft beer and highballs to bottled beers from Nepal and India, alongside sweet lassi cocktails, offering plenty of ways to explore complementary pairings.
